Last Minute Valentine’s Gift: DIY

The day is upon us! Flowers are being delivered by the truck load, some women are already half-way through their box of Russel Stover candy, and then there’s some of us who are still scrambling to find the perfect gift! I made two of these bath sets in under 30 minutes, using things I already had at home!

These would make a great Valentine’s gift for friends, perfect for spoiling your mom, and would even put a smile on your co-workers face.

Below, you’ll find all the ingredients and instructions to make both of these little bath goodies.

Lavender Sugar Scrub
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Tb. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
20 Drops Lavender Essential Oil (You can experiment with different essential oils)

Lavender and Rose Bath Salt
1/3 Cup Dr. Teal’s Lavender Epsom Salt
1/3 Cup Fine Grain Himalayan Salt
1/3 Cup Large Grain Himalayan Salt
2 Tb. Dried Rose Petal Pieces

Simply mix the ingredients for each scrub or soak, and then spoon it into the jelly jars. I found jar lid labels on Pinterest, which I’ll link below. Then, stack the two jars and secure together with twine. I used a piece of scotch tape on the bottom of each stack to keep the twine from slipping off. Tie on a gift tag, if needed, and voila! You’ve got yourself the perfect gift for any special lady in your life.

Floral Homemade Mason Jar Labels – from Minted Strawberry  |  These were originally created to be sticker labels, so they’re a little small for the jar lids. I simply scaled the print size to 125%.

Happy Valentine’s Day Loves!
