I’ve been saying it a lot lately, but guys, I am absolutely tired of winter. I am craving that fresh spring air, flowers in bloom, and hiking weather! And believe it or not, I love wedding season (hello spring dresses)! I ventured out in the cold last weekend to shoot some looks for the blog, and this beautiful spring-ready dress was one of them!
It’s by Stevie Hender, which is a hip and modern clothing line with styles for every woman! I teamed up with Shop Stevie rep, Taty K, to bring some gorgeous looks to the blog, and a special discount code so you can shop the entire collection. I fell in love with this dress on the site, and the more I see it, the more I love it! I’m thinking that it would be the perfect wedding guest dress and just gorgeous for Easter. I’m even imagining the opening day for spring meets at Keeneland! It’s just such a versatile dress for any spring event on your calendar.
I absolutely love the lace detailing on this dress because it’s such a unique pattern and looks so classy. I think the scallop edge on the sleeves is the perfect touch. But the color… I’m torn on the color. Is it gray or is it blue, or is it gray-ish blue? I just don’t know y’all. Let me know what you think…
I paired it with some pink pumps that I found for $9 at Rue21, here in Morehead, and a beautiful Nanette Lepore clutch. I love the laser cut designs in the clutch, and the gold under-layer made it pop!
For jewelry, I paired it with some vintage style penny earrings and a matching cuff bracelet. Amberleigh and I picked these up from an American Indian shop in Gatlinburg, TN, on our last trip. This was the first time I had ever worn the earrings, and I think they just made the whole look come together so nicely with a classy and vintage feel.
